Ways to DonateThe Albright Care Services Fund Development Office exists to assist donors in discovering the most effective ways to partner with ACS in the fulfillment of its mission. Since the opening of our first facility in 1916, Albright Care Services has never asked a resident to leave for inability to pay the full cost of his or her care. ACS is able to maintain this proud tradition only through the generous donor support of the Charitable and Benevolent Care Fund. Donors can designate their gifts to support work at a particular facility, or simply give to “wherever the need is greatest.” In addition to the Charitable and Benevolent Care Fund, Albright Care Services maintains Endowment Funds for Capital Projects and the Slifer House Museum. Albright Care Services is a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. There are many ways you can reach out to others through Albright Care Services and our affiliates. Benevolent CareBenevolent care helps ACS fulfill our promise to never ask a resident to leave due to financial hardship. Donations are accepted securely through PayPal. Cash GiftsGifts of cash provide immediate help for programs, services and equipment. Gifts can be made with cash, check or credit card. Donations are accepted securely through PayPal. Or, it can be made through a gift annuity, charitable trust, life insurance or pooled income fund. Planned gifts may offer a number of advantages including: income for life or for a term of years to the donor and/or other designated beneficiary (i.e.: spouse or other family member); reduction of the donor’s tax obligation through a charitable income tax deduction; “unlocking” income from highly appreciated but low-yielding property without incurring significant and immediate capital gains tax; saving on estate and gift taxes.
