Executive Director Named for Lancaster LIFE Facility

Beth Fluder has been named the Executive Director for the Albright LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) Center that will be located in the city of Lancaster, PA.  Renovation of the prospective building will begin before the winter season has ended, and the Center is set to open in the late summer or early fall.  Albright LIFE Lancaster is a program offered by Albright Care Services (ACS), the designated provider of LIFE in Lancaster County through the Department of Public Welfare.   

Beth has had multiple roles at ACS since 2000 and has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry.  She has a varied background in Health Care Administration and Speech Language Pathology.   Prior to joining the ACS team, Beth was a Regional Vice President for Elder Health, Inc. and a Vice President for Genesis Health Ventures.

In her new role, Beth will be primarily responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the services provided by LIFE.  She will also be accountable for the administrative, professional, clinical, and financial operations of the agency that are necessary to assure a safe, effective, and efficient program.

“We are excited to have Beth initiate this new and exciting program in Lancaster,” said Shaun Smith, Executive Vice President, Albright Care Services.

LIFE is a comprehensive medical and social service provider through the Center’s team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists, personal care aides, van drivers, and other contracted specialists serving seniors 60 years of age and older, who are nursing home eligible, allowing them to stay in their homes as long as possible.

“I’m very excited about bringing this innovative program to Lancaster County,” Beth commented.  “The LIFE program is a caring and comprehensive healthcare model which helps seniors stay healthy and active while continuing to live in their own homes.”
