Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community Names New Executive Director

Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community recently brought Douglas Flasher on board as their new Executive Director.  Carol McKinley, Doug’s predecessor, was promoted to a new position within the corporation - Vice President of Service Excellence for Albright Care Services.

Doug has over thirteen years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry.  Before joining the Normandie Ridge family, he was the Administrator and Regional Coordinator of Skilled Services for HealthSouth Transitional Rehabilitation Centers in York and Mechanicsburg.  A few of his major responsibilities were to serve as a governing body, reporting results of operations and work on strategic planning for expanding hospital services, and serving on the Medical Executive Committee.  He was also accountable for volume and budget control, visiting hospitals and physicians to market services, starting a 23-bed unit in York, and educating department leaders on policies and procedures.

Doug has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Juniata College (Huntingdon, PA) and Hokusei Gakuen University (Sapporo, Japan); a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ); and a Nursing Home Administrator license from the University of Scranton (Scranton, PA).  He currently resides in York.
