Arthritis and Seniors Presentation to be Held at Normandie Ridge

Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community will be hosting their June Breakfast Series presentation on the topic of arthritis from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13 in the facility’s Multi-Purpose Room at 1700 Normandie Drive in York.  The lecture will conclude with a question and answer session, and breakfast items will be available to all participants.  Residents, staff, and the public are invited to attend free of charge.  Kelly Kulp, Community Development Director for the Central PA chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, will discuss prevention measures, programs and services, and breakthroughs.  Ms. Kulp has been with the Foundation for three years and is responsible for fundraising activities and implementing programs in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Perry, and York counties.  Registration is required by June 10 by calling (717) 718-1863. 

We encourage all middle-aged persons as well as seniors to attend the Series since arthritis affects a wide range of the older population.

Normandie Ridge began their monthly Breakfast Series in February with a presentation on heart disease in celebration of American Heart Month.  The purpose of the Series is to inform the residents, staff, and the community on topics relating to senior health and wellness.  Topic suggestions can be made by calling (717) 718-1863.
