Learn About Diabetes at Normandie Ridge

Lori Shultz, RN, CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) with WellSpan Health, will be speaking about diabetes at Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community’s Breakfast Series from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15 in the facility’s Multi-Purpose Room at 1700 Normandie Drive in York. The presentation will include information about what the disease is and how to treat it. There will also be information about medications, nutrition, complications, etc. Ms. Shultz’s talk will conclude with a question and answer session. All are invited to attend free of charge, and breakfast items will be available for all participants. Registration is required by April 12 by calling Joyce Singer at (717) 718-0937.
Lori Shultz graduated with her BSN from West Chester University in 1985. She has been employed at WellSpan for over 19 years, her experience including work in the medical/surgical and behavioral health service lines. For the past 10 years, Ms. Shultz has been with the WellSpan Diabetes Self Management Program.
