Beauty Salon/Barber Shop

RiverWoods offers a full-service beauty salon located in RidgeCrest Commons. Open to the public as well as the residents, the salon offers a full menu of hair care services including haircuts, perms, facials, manicures, pedicures and more.

RidgeCrest Restaurant and Café

The RidgeCrest Restaurant and Café located in RidgeCrest Commons are open to residents, staff and the community. Providing you with an excellent, memorable dining experience is our priority!

Lunch is served Monday through Sunday from 11:30am to 2pm.
Dinner is served Monday through Sunday from 5pm to 7pm.
Every Wednesday from 11:30am till 2pm we feature an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet.
Every Sunday from 11:30am till 2pm we feature a Sunday brunch buffet.

Our menu offers something for everyone from heartier fare to low-fat entrees. We can accommodate large groups. Reservations are recommended, but not required.

We are a highly personalized catering service well-versed in all types of cuisine. Since 1995, we have successfully served the unique needs of many corporate, private, non-profit educational, governmental and financial communities.

When you are looking for a beautiful and affordable event location, RiverWoods is the place for you. We offer comfortable areas for meetings or events, which are suitable for accommodating small, medium or large groups in a variety of settings on the RiverWoods campus.

Computer Access

All RidgeCrest Apartments and all Garden Cottages have computer access. Residents may choose Albright Care Services as their Internet and e-mail provider or elect to have a private provider. Residents who do not have a computer can use one in the library in RidgeCrest Commons.

Fitness Center

RiverWoods offers a fitness center complete with treadmills, life cycles, universal gyms and free weights. The fitness center is located next to the pool. Hours are 6am through 11pm. The fitness center is located in RidgeCrest Commons and is open to all residents at no additional charge. A limited number of community memberships are also available.

Library

The library is located in RidgeCrest Commons. Books, periodicals and videos are available to residents. A computer and video eye to aid those with visual impairments is also located in the library.

Pool/Aquatics Center

RiverWoods offers a complete aquatic program including a monthly schedule which features water aerobics, free swimming, lap swims, water volleyball and more. Separate changing rooms with lockers are available.

Transportation Services

Transportation services are provided to beauty and barbershop, evening outings such as concerts or basketball games, restaurants and leisure activities, medical appointments, on-campus transportation including appointments with Dr. Spotts, Medical Director, shopping, church services and special functions in Marlow Hall, Slifer House Museum and RidgeCrest Commons.

Walking Paths

Walking paths outline the entire RiverWoods campus to allow our residents, staff and visitors enjoy the beautifully landscaped areas of the campus.

Woodworking Shop

A fully equipped woodworking shop is available to our residents who make numerous items that are available for sale in the RiverWoods Auxiliary gift shop.
