Ard's Farm Market Provides One Stop Shopping

Ard’s Farm Market of Lewisburg recently began a delivery service to the residents and employees of RiverWoods Senior Living Community.  Residents and employees can use an order form to select fresh produce, deli items, dairy products, frozen foods, baked goods, organic and natural foods, homemade jams, teas and other beverages and a variety of snacks.  Orders are placed on Tuesday and delivered to their door every Thursday.  This service proved to be very successful with more than 20 residents taking advantage the first day. 

Wes Leidig, Executive Director of RiverWoods sees this as a great opportunity for our residents and employees, especially during the winter months.  “This is just one of the many ways that RiverWoods is trying to improve the quality of life for all its residents,” Leidig said.  “Now they will have more opportunity to participate in fun and educational events instead of shopping for groceries.”  

Shawn Crossgrove, Catering Manager of Ard’s, was pleased to be able to offer this service for the residents as “a way to give back to the community.”  “Many of the residents have been loyal customers by coming to our business for many years—this is a way we can show them our appreciation for their loyalty,” Crossgrove stated.
