RiverWoods Senior Living Community to Host Health Fair

RiverWoods Senior Living Community will be hosting their annual Health Fair on Wednesday, October 11 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Marlow Hall, conveniently located on the RiverWoods campus.

Health screenings will be given and 40 vendor booths will be displayed.  The health screenings will consist of: blood pressure, balance, hearing, flu/pneumonia shots, bone density, and glaucoma screenings.  Some of these tests require a small fee, and participants are asked to bring their insurance cards along with them to the Fair.

The vendor booths will provide an extensive amount of health related information and will include: RiverWoods Therapy, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Schieb Law Offices, Service First Credit Union, Dr. Albright Footcare. Flu Clinic, Standard Journal, Evangelical Community Hospital, Meals on Wheels, Slifer House Museum, American Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation, Beltone Hearing Aides, and the American Cancer Society.  For a complete list of vendors and a map of their locations at the Health Fair, please contact the Standard Journal at (570) 742-9671.
