March Blood Drive at RiverWoods Successful

On Wednesday, March 7, 53 units of blood and 10 units of red cell units were collected during a blood drive held at the RiverWoods Senior Living Community.  Michelle Houtz, Administrative Assistant, is responsible for coordinating the day’s events in conjunction with the American Red Cross.  Several individuals giving blood heard the advertisement and decided to give. One gentleman, Wesley Reichard of Lewisburg, decided to donate because his mother resides in the RiverWoods Nursing Care Center.   Mrs. Houtz is very pleased with the turnout and plans are already in the works for the next drive scheduled for Wednesday, June 6.
