Slifer House Honors Senator Madigan and Arnie Kriner

Bill Metzger, Sr., right, an Emeritus member of the Slifer Advisory Board, presents a certificate of appreciation to Arnie Kriner, assistant to State Senator Roger A. Madigan, for their support of the Slifer House Museum. This presentation took place on March 29, 2008.

The Slifer House Advisory Board recently honored the services of Senator Roger A. Madigan and his assistant Arnie Kriner for their great support of the museum. It is through their efforts that the museum has received two significant grants from the Department of Community and Economic Development. The grants were endorsed by Senator Madigan. One of the grants aided in the installation of an upgraded heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, which will provide constant temperature and humidity requirements throughout the museum, office, and storage areas.

A presentation was made to Senator Madigan’s assistant, Arnie Kriner at the Abraham Lincoln Dinner, Saturday, March 29, 2008.
