Slifer House Museum to Host the Repasz Band

The Slifer House Museum, 80 Magnolia Drive in Lewisburg, will host the Repasz Band on Thursday, June 26 at 7 pm. Weather-permitting, the concert will be held on the front lawn of the museum. The concert is free and open to the public, although a freewill offering is taken. As is the time-honored tradition, an old-fashioned ice cream social follows each concert. In the event of rain, Marlow Hall, located within the Nursing Care Center on the campus of RiverWoods Senior Living Community (3201 River Road, Lewisburg) is the rain location.

The remaining concerts include:

Thursday, July 10 at 7 pm, the Vaudeville Team of Dave & Mike [David Hall & Mike Glazer];
Thursday, July 24 at 7 pm, the Dansbachers;
Thursday, August 14 at 7 pm, the Nittany Mountain [Bag]pipe Band; and
Thursday, August 28 at 7 pm, the Buffalo Valley Brass Ensemble.

The concert series is supported by Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA), the regional arts funding partnership of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency. State government funding comes through an annual appropriation by Pennsylvania’s General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by Community Partnerships Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Council.
